Health Documents Content Manager

Eastern Health Authority Case Study

The FYB CM2WebShare connector automates the display of documents from Micro Focus’ Content Manager to your website, whilst maintaining security of the documents at all times.

About the Organisation

Eastern Health Authority has a proud history of promoting and enforcing public health standards in Adelaide’s eastern and inner northern suburbs.

Their role covers vital public and environment health services such as immunization hygiene and sanitation control, licensing and monitoring of Supported Residential Facilities; and inspection and regulation of food outlets.

With a single focus, and highly specialized and experienced staff, the Eastern Health Authority is well-equipped to deal with the increasing diversity and complexity of public and environmental health.

  • Decentralised and uncontrolled storage of digital media records on network drives, external/portable hard drives and cameras/mobile devices
  • Poor and inconsistent naming of digital media made search and retrieval of evidentiary images difficult
  • Inability to utilise GPS coordinates captured by cameras and devices, without an integrated user-friendly interface

Using the FYB CM2WebShare has:

  • Displaying internal documents such as meeting minutes and policies on our website was time consuming to administer and resulted in duplication of information
  • Out dated documents displaying on our website was causing confusion for our staff

Eastern Health Authority have been an FYB Support Member since 2013.

Early in 2017 whilst upgrading to Office 365 and SharePoint they were faced with the challenge of displaying internal documents from Content Manager to their website, SharePoint.

After learning about the CM2WebShare they discovered the connector was the perfect fit for them.

“We love the FYB CM2WebShare connector! Once it’s set up it’s so easy to add and remove documents”

Hayley Lambi, Administration Officer, Eastern Health Authority
